Float something decorative on the surface. Flower blooms votives or LED lights are all good options. Please turn off any circulation in the pool and use fishing line or small weight to keep each item in place.
You could also simply line the perimeter of the pool with candles of various sizes in tall cylinders.
For a wow factor you could rent a fountain and place it in the middle of the pool if your venue will allow it.
